What is Masked Aadhaar?
In such a situation, UIDAI has suggested the use of masked Aadhaar card instead of photocopy of Aadhaar. The first 8 digits of your Aadhaar number are not shown in the masked Aadhaar card, only the last 4 digits are visible in it. How to download masked Aadhaar card?
For this, you first go to the official website of UIDAI https://myaadhaar.uidai.gov.in/.
Now click on the option of ‘Download Aadhaar Card here’.
After this a new window will open.
Now enter your 12 digit Aadhaar number and fill Captcha and click on the option of ‘Send OTP’.
At that stage you will see ‘Do you want a masked Aadhaar?’ option.
Enter OTP by clicking on this option
After that click on verify and download.
Now you can download your Masked Aadhaar Card.
UIDAI guidelines
UIDAI has also instructed not to use public computers in internet cafes/kiosks to download your e-Aadhaar. If under any circumstances you have to do this, then permanently delete all the downloaded copies of your e-Aadhaar from that computer.
