When global markets, including both emerging and developed were trading at 3-4% lower, Indian markets have been on the rise. The reasons for this are, New Fund Offerings (NFOs) by mutual funds have garnered inflows of up to Rs 20,000 crore. Following them are the Systematic Investment Planning (SIPs), which saw an inflow of about Rs 10,000 crore. Adding to that, Indian economy is reopening, so there is a feeling that things are going to get better, which is really helping the economy.
Also, with the onset of the festive season, many would be travelling inside of India, which is great for the aviation, tourism and hospitality industries.
