Vivek Goenka: Shall we do a review every 6 months, and while doing a review what should we check, fund expense, return compared to the benchmark, rolling return also equity debt allocation rebalancing should also be done?
Sanghavi: Six months is a very shorter time to conclude on whether we are right or wrong. But for example for the overall plan, last year when the markets were falling there was no need for you to shift from equity to debt. But you could have taken a top-up in equity. The vacation goal could be restructured and turned into an investment, which could have got you averaging in your investment. This could have really benefitted you. This will really work if you have an advisor who will guide you in such a way and sail you in such times.
